Your current choice

Loading your preference…

You can change this choice at any time. Turning optional analytics off clears Carlore analytics cookies and stops future Google Analytics and Clarity collection on this browser.

1. What browser storage means

Websites can use cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies to remember information. Some are necessary for a service to work, while others require a choice or consent depending on what they do.

2. Essential storage used by Carlore

  • Authentication tokens and session information used to keep you signed in securely.
  • Your selected appearance setting: Light, Dark or System.
  • Short-lived security information needed during account recovery or Google Sign-In.
  • Your analytics-consent choice so Carlore can remember whether optional analytics should remain enabled or disabled.

Blocking essential storage may prevent account creation, sign-in, saved preferences or other core features from working properly.

3. Google Sign-In

When you choose Continue with Google, Google may use its own cookies and account-session technologies on Google-controlled pages. Those technologies are governed by Google’s policies and account settings. Carlore receives only the profile information you authorise for sign-in.

4. Production analytics and performance measurement

Carlore uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights on the public production site to measure aggregate traffic, performance and reliability. Vercel describes these services as privacy-focused: Web Analytics does not use cookies and records anonymous aggregate data, while Speed Insights records anonymous performance data without identifying individual visitors or reconstructing browsing sessions.

This operational measurement is limited to Carlore’s public production hosts and is not enabled on the private Founder Command Centre or development/preview hosts.

5. Error monitoring and reliability (Sentry)

Carlore uses Sentry to capture crashes, error diagnostics and performance traces so we can find and fix problems in the service. This runs at all times, for every visitor, as a strictly necessary part of operating and securing Carlore — it is not an optional or advertising technology and is not affected by the analytics preference below.

  • Sentry does not receive your name, email address, cookies or full request headers from Carlore's configuration, and does not record what you type or read in the console.
  • Session replay, where captured, masks all on-page text and input fields and blocks images and video before anything leaves your browser.
  • Sentry is not used for advertising, and Carlore does not sell this information.

6. Optional analytics

If you choose to allow optional analytics, Carlore may also enable Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to help us understand page use and product usability. These services are kept disabled until you consent on that browser.

You can withdraw that consent later through the analytics or cookie preference control. Withdrawing consent stops future optional Google Analytics and Clarity collection on that browser and clears the Carlore analytics cookies that the preference control can remove.

Carlore does not use advertising cookies and does not sell browsing information to advertisers.

7. Managing storage and consent

You can change Carlore’s optional analytics preference through the site’s consent controls. You can also delete or block cookies and site storage through your browser settings or use private browsing. Clearing site storage may sign you out, reset your appearance preference and remove the saved consent choice for that browser.

8. Changes and contact

We will update this page if Carlore introduces a new cookie or tracking category. Contact support@carlore.co.uk with questions about browser storage or analytics.
