- What GearMind is — AI-assisted car diagnostics, photo scanning, repair guidance, and vehicle information. AI outputs (diagnoses, fault scans, cost estimates, video suggestions, and repair guidance) are generated automatically and are not verified by a professional mechanic. They're a starting point, not a substitute for a qualified technician's inspection, especially for anything safety-critical (brakes, steering, airbags, tyres, fuel systems, high-voltage EV/hybrid systems, overheating, or structural work).
- Accounts — you must provide accurate info, keep login secure, and be legally able to enter a contract to hold a paid subscription. You may deactivate your session in Account settings and request permanent deletion by contacting support. Some billing, fraud-prevention, tax, security, or legal records may be retained where required by law.
- Subscriptions & billing — Free/Plus/Pro billed as on the Pricing page, auto-renew until cancelled, manage/cancel anytime in account settings. Monthly credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over or carry forward — unused credits are forfeited at renewal. Credit top-ups are non-refundable once used.
- Acceptable use — no attempts to harm vehicles/people/property, circumvent safety systems, or misuse AI features.
- Disclaimer & liability — GearMind is provided "as is" for informational purposes. You are responsible for deciding whether work is safe and legal to perform. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GearMind and its owners are not liable for damage, injury, death, vehicle loss, loss of earnings, recovery costs, failed repairs, incorrect parts, or other losses from relying on AI-generated content, user-uploaded images, videos, estimates, or guides without independent professional verification where appropriate.
- Changes — terms may be updated; continued use after changes means acceptance.
